i died in your arms tonight: Pomni/Jax - Something goopy, like sludge, begins to leak down the front of Jax’s face, stinging the whole way down. He blinks rapidly to free himself of it, but it’s sticky and stings as it clumps his eyelashes together. His vision distorts in one eye, going from his regular vision to technicolor. It dribbles down his cheek like a tear, inciting a riot of agony as it does. Reaching his warped hand up to his eye, Jax dabs at the viscous fluid and rubs it between his thumb and forefinger. He glances down at his fingers as he strides down the hall, and is surprised to find its abstraction in a different form. “Fuck!” Jax hisses between his teeth. With a jerk of his wrist, Jax flicks the sludge onto the floor in front of him, where it flitters apart and begins to glitch. OR! The one where Jax partially abstracts after a nightmare post-episode 6! Pomni is left to pick up the pieces.

if you’re fine with that, you can be mine like that: Pomni/Jax - What they have isn’t healthy. It’s not sustainable, and Pomni doesn’t even want to think about how it’ll end. She knows she’s going to break eventually, messily, and that her affection will freak Jax out all over again. It’s not enough to stop her from trying or wanting more. She’s here because she wants to be, and even if that gets her hurt, at least it was her choice. OR! The one where Pomni and Jax were in a sexual relationship before episode 6's fight. This is the fallout.

Heartsease: Jack/Miranda - Hanahaki - a terminal disease where the roots of flowers entangle your lungs and suffocate you to death. First petals, and then entire flower-heads, are expelled from the mouth as the disease progresses. It is triggered by perceived rejection/unrequited feelings, and cured by reciprocal love. Surgery is available to remove the roots, but in doing so, you lose your feelings for the person causing the Hanahaki to flower inside you.

Mass Effect Drabbles: Jack/Miranda - “Not now,” Miranda grouses as each individual hair on Jack’s arm raises when she tightens her grip on her. “Sleeping.”

Breaking Barriers: Akechi Goro/Kurusu Akira/Sakura Futaba - “Ah,” Goro says with sudden realization, “So that’s why you’ve been so intent about,” he flicks a wrist as if to entail the all of it, “bonding.” Goro looks at Akira accusingly. “How long have you been planning this?” Akira shakes his head, and Goro presses his lips together, stalking across the room toward Futaba, who looks like she suddenly wants to turn and run back up the stairs.

Promise You'll Stay: Akechi Goro/Kurusu Akira/Yoshizawa Sumire | Yoshizawa Kasumi - Three teenagers sneak into an abandoned classroom after school with only naughty mischief on the brain. OR! an excessively long smut scene with a dash of feelings and bantering on the side.

Highest Fall You’ll Ever Grace: Aziraphale/Crowley - Aziraphale doesn’t understand, not at first. For a frantic heartbeat, Aziraphale thinks he’s misstepped, but then his feet are no longer on solid ground. He tumbles through the air, spinning head over heels, as he nose-dives through Heaven. Cold, disinterested faces peer down at him as he passes, but no one makes a move to help. Aziraphale tries to scream, but his voice cuts out before he can start. There’s a tearing ache at the back of his throat, and he’s sick to his stomach, unable to so much as stir the air as he picks up speed and begins to plummet. OR! Aziraphale Falls from grace, and Crowley is there to pick up the pieces.

Dulling Pain in the Rain: Anders/Fenris - Fenris bites his cheek to stem the influx of bitterness and rage pouring out of him like a spigot. It’s acidic, splashing the back of his throat and searing everything it touches. Whatever tolerance he has for Anders is waning, rapidly reaching its blistering conclusion. All it takes is a glance to discern that the other man is gearing himself up for an argument. OR! A vicious spat between Fenris and Anders turns into hatefucking.
