Art & Crafts

I've been an artsy person for my entire life! For as long as I can remember, I've been either writing or drawing something. I think I take after my great grandmother in that sense. My writing has always been decent, but my art has had its fair share of ups and downs. When I was a kid and a teenager, my art was fairly advanced for my age, but during my second-to-last year of highschool, my school caught fire due to some dunce playing with a lighter near a bucket of paint thinner.

I lost most of my art then, and what little I had left was driven from my by the career and technical center I was in. So I stopped drawing. More than that, my passion died. It's reignited several times over the years, but never long enough for me to do anything with it. I just don't have the discipline needed to constantly and consistently do anything. That won't stop me from repeatedly coming back to art and trying fruitlessly over and over again.

In the sidebar to the left, you'll find a few links to some of the art (and fanfiction + crafts, too) I've created over the years. I'm trying something new with my art where I stop comparing my current work to my old stuff... so you'll only see a few pieces starting this year! I do not want critique right now — when I do, I seek it out from my fiancée, Minty, or other artist friends. They're all amazing artists!
